Through Bridges to BOW (B2B), young women from diverse, under-represented, BIPOC, and/or other underserved communities learn about, register for, and attend a BOW Program.

Colorado Wildlife Federation's Becoming an Outdoors Woman (BOW) program has proven to be a successful way to introduce the outdoors and all its wonders to the women of Colorado. However, while BOW is a great learning opportunity, many young women from diverse communities in Colorado don't even know that the program exists.

For those who may have heard of BOW, the opportunity can seem out of reach. Registration fees, lack of experience, or the hesitancy to try something new can all serve as barriers to young women wanting to gain experience in the outdoors. Bridges to BOW exists to break these barriers and serve as a bridge to Becoming an Outdoors Woman.

Applications for our 2024 Bridges to BOW program are now CLOSED.
