Colorado Wildlife Federation Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission has adopted final oil and gas rules at its December 10 meeting. CWF believes that the rules represent a balanced compromise to provide minimum protections to wildlife — to help Colorado’s very important wildlife resource to withstand intense gas development. The next task is to protect these rules during the next session of the general assembly that begins in January. We expect attempts to weaken these minimum protections for wildlife.
