CWF is pleased! Specific provisions include:<\/p>\n<p>establishing a chronic wasting disease (CWD) task force to develop an interstate action plan for state and federal cooperation relating to the disease, and commission a study by the National Academy of Sciences as to pathways and mechanisms of CWD\u00a0 transmission;<\/p>\n<p>reauthorizing the North American Wetlands Conservation Act until 2025;<\/p>\n<p>encouraging partnerships among public agencies and other interested parties for promoting fish conservation;<\/p>\n<p>reauthorizing the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation Act until 2025<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On October 30, 2020 the President signed into law the America&#8217;s Conservation Enhancement Act\u00a0 \u00a0(S. 3051).
