Becoming an Outdoors-Woman Snowshoeing Clinic

Getting outside in the winter by snowshoeing is easy & fun! Come to this introductory class where you’ll learn the types of snowshoes, what terrain to travel on, and different travel techniques in this beginner class. No experience is necessary! We will have hands-on instruction throughout the event and all equipment will be supplied and explained. Come learn the basics of snowshoeing and enjoy a fun day outside while connecting with other women!

Our BOW Clinics provide an opportunity for women at any experience level, 18 years or older, to learn a variety of hands-on outdoor skills in a comfortable, safe, and supportive environment. Join us at our BOW classes to learn something new, make friends, and have fun! Limited spots are available, so register soon!

The workshop is for you if…

  • you have never snowshoed, but have hoped for an opportunity to learn
  • you are a beginner who hopes to improve your skills
  • you are looking for the camaraderie of like-minded individuals

 

When: 9am-12:30pm, January 5, 2025 (Lunch provided after the class ends at 12pm)

BOW Instructors:

We strive to get instructors who are knowledgeable, experienced, and passionate in their field. Some are employed in the fields they teach; others are experts in their subjects, and some are Colorado Parks and Wildlife employees with years of experience in the flora and fauna of Colorado. While many of our instructors are women, we do also have a few excellent male instructors that have long been dedicated to providing the very best instruction for our attendees.
