Big Thompson River Access 4/12 mtg Update

Update from the Larimer County Parks Advisory Board meeting on April 12:

Regarding the Indian Village and Narrows properties, the board discussed the parcels, but did not make a decision.  The public comment period has been extended at least until the May meeting. 

There was a small "win" last night.  It is the removal of the small .3-acre parcel in the Narrows from sale.  It was determined that it would not generate enough revenue to pay for the expenses of surveying, etc.   This decision saves a small section of riverfront access for the public.

Walt Graul made public comment at the meeting on behalf of The Friends of the Big Thompson. CWF is a member of the Friends.  Walt also serves as Co-Chair of CWF's Issues Committee.
